NRG CS2: ACE NA MASTERS CHAMPS!
After a statement victory in the Ace NA Masters Grand Finals against a top-30 HLTV ranked M80 squad, NRG CS2 are heading BACK to LAN for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown!
A thrilling three-map series saw NRG CS2 pick up two massive victories on Inferno (13-6) and Mirage (13-5) to send the squad overseas for their next step into qualification for the ultimate prize goal – the BLAST Premier Fall Finals held in Copenhagen later this year.
For now, the Fall Showdown offers the opportunity for NRG CS2 to level up and play some very impressive squads in the month of August, with the chance to bootcamp and pick up valuable server hours against some of the top teams in Europe. This is a massive test for the squad and a testament to the growth and development they have had since joining the #NRGFam at the end of last year!
AWPer oSee was the star of the series against M80, picking up an impressive 39 elims and providing a couple of amazing clutches, as well as the final frag, that helped seal the deal against a top NA foe. NRG also racked up wins against Fluffy Aimers, Wildcard and exacted revenge against Party Astronauts to set themselves up for the championship finale.
Also this past week was qualification for the Thunderpick World Championship and the following season of the ESL Pro League. In both events, untimely defeats at the hands of Party Astronauts proved to be the end of the road to clinch a spot in either event. For next season, NRG will return to the ESL Challengers Series with another attempt to make the ESL Pro League for the following season.

RETURN TO THE RIFT FOR NRG KIA
After a long offseason, NRG Kia have returned to the Riot Arena for the start of the LCS Summer Split!
The team of Dhokla, Contractz, Palafox, FBI and huhi will be running it back on the rift all Summer long in the efforts to qualify for the Summer Split Playoffs and ultimately, LoL Worlds!
New for this split is a transition to a best-of-three format, which will see NRG Kia compete in fewer match days overall. However, this will allow for each match to matter so much more toward the overall standings. It will also allow the coaching staff to make adjustments in real time, with one game dropped not being the end of the day.
We can’t wait to see what this new format will bring for NRG Kia. Join us on June 16th at 1 PM PT as we take on 100 Thieves in our season opening match! Tune in on the LCS Twitch channel and be sure to spam that NRG emote.
A NEW LOOK FOR IMPOSTER
The content bangers just keep rolling out for Full Squad Gaming!
After a thrilling concert event at the NRG Spectrum Castle, the squad led by Classify and Avalanche returned to a BRAND NEW Celebrity Imposter set fueled by our wonderful partners at Rockstar Energy. The new look features a fresh environment for the squad with a game show feel for each of their setups where they battle to deceive or convince their friends next to them!
With the squad focused up and ready to guess the imposter, we brought along a STACKED guestlist to film some brand new episodes including Sara Saffari, Tommy Unold, Trevor Wallace and a few guests we’re not ready to reveal quite yet…stay tuned for more announcements on future episodes by opting in for notifications on the FSG YouTube page!
NRG SHOCK: PLAYOFFS UP NEXT!
After the triumphant return of NRG Shock to the world of competitive Overwatch, the team returned to action online for the conclusion of the OW FACEIT League.
Playing four matches, the team of cal, Infekted, PGE, Rakattack, scissors and WMaimone went 3-1, picking up victories against Luminosity Gaming, Green Fortnite and Pirates In Pyjamas. These wins helped NRG Shock secure the third overall seed in the regular season standings with an impressive 12-3 record overall.
Next up is the big test, the FACEIT League Playoffs to determine the top-3 teams who qualify for the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia later this summer! Our first round matchup against PMSL is this Saturday at 2 PM PT, as we battle through the eight-team double elimination bracket for our quest at qualifying for World Cup glory. HOME STRETCH FOR NRG GALAXY
NRG Galaxy continued play in the PMSL Americas this past week in São Paulo, climbing the leaderboards to be the best team that NA has to offer!
The team of Fate, JSVN, Spec, Melaz and coach Telli have certainly been challenged all season long, as many top Brazilian teams continue to flex their muscle at the PMSL Americas. Still, the team found themselves racking up some serious placement points this past week, finishing on the podium in seven out of 30 total matches for Week 2. The squad also picked up their second win (also called a “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner”) for the season on Day 4, shooting up the leaderboards to 11th Place overall.
With the final week of PMSL Americas action underway, NRG Galaxy are looking to finish strong and prove why they are the top team in NA! A big thank you to Samsung Galaxy and the Galaxy S24 Ultra for powering our team’s great performances all season long!
