Last Friday, NRG partnered with Intel Gaming to celebrate the launch of their brand-new line of cutting-edge gaming processors, hosting the Intel x NRG Night Market. We filled the Castle with over one thousand LA area NRG VALORANT fans, press, and technology enthusiasts for a full day of gamer-centric entertainment. The Night Market featured a collegiate VALORANT competition, incredible food, an artist alley, and hands-on experiential booths run by MSI, Newegg, iBUYPOWER, and more.

The event was headlined by the s0m vs FNS Clout Clash influencer showmatch, which delivered 71 million owned impressions, and the livestream had a combined peak viewership of 40,000 people. Team s0m, featuring s0m himself, ethan, hazed, katiewon, and Sagemommy went on to win the event in dominant fashion taking home all the glory and amazing Intel diamond chains! This massive event, plus some major roster announcements, made NRG the talk of the VALORANT community for the past week.

We also officially announced the 2025 NRG VCT roster, revealing 3 new additions to the team. Coach Bonkar, Mada, and Verno will be joining the returning core of s0m, FNS, and Ethan in what we believe will be a powerful mix of youthful firepower and veteran experience.

The team just began preparing for the season and will be in action for the very first time in a few weeks. We can’t wait!

WE’RE GOING TO SWEDEN!

After a SUPER exciting regular season, the NRG Shock have officially qualified for OWCS World Finals at DreamHack Stockholm! It’s been a whirlwind ever since the Shock made its highly anticipated return earlier this year. Fan support for this team has been inspiring and a testament to the incredible community the Shock has built since 2018.

The team’s work is cut out for them in Sweden as the best teams from all over the world are coming together for the biggest event of the year, including many former SF Shock coaches and players who have been dominating the OWCS Asia Region.

This week the NRG CS squad started their ECL playoff run. They won an exciting first match against Nouns Esports but unfortunately got knocked down to the Lower bracket by M80, falling 2-1. The team bounced back the next day with a convincing 2-0 W over Wildcard, setting us up for a match against Party Astronauts in the lower bracket finals later tonight. We need 2 more wins to secure a slot in the ESL Pro League!

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Full Squad Gaming has been on a multi-week content super sprint with our partners at Samsung Galaxy. Last week, the team filmed at college campuses across the US, bringing their viral game show to the masses and giving out special Samsung prizes. The crew has also been visiting exotic locations for wild special edition Imposter episodes, on top of creating content with celebrity guests. Be on the lookout for our upcoming FSG Squadcast with special guests actor Timothy Granaderos and Minecraft superstar Sapnap.
