PRO LEAGUE BOUND
Coming off a couple of tough losses to end the ECL regular season, NRG CS went on an incredible run in the ECL Playoffs to finish top 2 for the season. NRG took down favorites, Wildcard and Brazilian powerhouse, Legacy, along with Nouns to make the Grand Finals of the event. By qualifying for the Grand Finals, the team secured an extremely coveted slot in the ESL Pro League for 2025 in Malta! This was a big step in the right direction for NRG CS, as Pro League is one of the most important events we could qualify for this year putting us in competition with the best teams the world over and boosting our shot at the top of the world rankings.
To close out the 2024 season, the team will be working to finish strong at the remaining Revival Series Cash Cups in November, and will also be headlining Fragadelphia Kansas City in December.
NEW FIREPOWER BEHIND THE SCENES
The new look NRG VALORANT team has started practice for the upcoming 2025 season. The team's debut is coming up quickly, as NRG will be playing in the SEN City Invitational, November 1-3. The four team event will put our squad up against Sentinels, EG, and Cloud9 in a low key offseason event to give the fans just a little taste of what's to come in the 2025 VCT season. NRG will be using the event as a tune up for another offseason event we will be attending in December. Stay tuned for more details on this unannounced event!
NRG VALORANT also welcomed its final piece to the team, assistant coach, Strong! Strong has a long history of helping teams in both League of Legends, and more recently VALORANT. He spent the 2024 season working with Team Vitality in the EMEA VALORANT Tour.
BLGS HAS BEGUN
NRG Apex returned to action this past weekend for the first time with Gild back on the roster. The boys played through the qualifiers for the Apex “offseason” event titled BLGS, and secured a spot in the Qualifier #1 Finals on Tuesday, where they finished in 2nd place, a very solid showing. There are three more chances for teams to earn points towards the regional finals coming up, and NRG is sitting in a great position after week 1. BLGS Regional Finals take place starting December 15th, and the new NRG squad looks poised to make a big run.
EPIC HAWAIIAN ADVENTURE
Full Squad Gaming recently returned from an action-packed shoot in Hawaii, where the team filmed amidst lush jungles, swam with sharks, skydived, and even cliff-dived for their latest Samsung branded content piece. Over the past year, the squad has traveled over 32,000 miles, capturing high-adrenaline content across the globe. The team is now grinding on edits and prepping for their next adventure!
